I started CanSkate when I was in grade 6 and didn’t like being with all the younger kids, so I pushed myself and got through most of my tests by graduation, and my last 2 dances after my last daughter was born.

Thirty Years Coaching Experience - I have coached mostly in two clubs in my coaching career, and now joining Carstairs in 2022 makes three clubs.
I am currently the head coach in Crossfield Skating Club and have been coaching there since 2001.

Coaching Area of Interest: I love coaching all levels, but I have to say my favorite is Jr. Star and Star 1-5 because I feel if the skaters have strong foundation at these levels, it makes moving through higher tests and levels easier.
