The Carstairs Skating Club (CSC) is seeking the support of individuals and businesses to help sponsor our ice flood costs.
As a non-profit, Skate Canada-sanctioned club, we are committed to keeping skating accessible and affordable for families in our community. With the rising cost of operating our programs, sponsorships help us keep registration fees as manageable as possible, ensuring more children, youth, and adults can continue to enjoy the sport of skating.
Why Ice Floods Matter
A freshly flooded ice surface provides more than just smooth skating—it creates a safer environment for our skaters. Ice that becomes rough or deeply gouged increases the risk of falls and injuries, making regular flooding an essential part of every skating session.
- $25 sponsors one ice flood.
- CSC requires 10–18 ice floods each month, depending on our schedule.
- Every sponsorship, large or small, makes a meaningful difference.
