Ice Fest 2024
Another success IceFest Synchronized Skating Invitational! In 2024, CSC hosted twenty-six synchronized skating teams on March 9th, 2024! Again, there are so many people and organizations to thank!

❤ Flower whispers for donating flower bouquets to the Saskatoon Silver Edges Open team, who traveled all that way for an exhibition skate.
❤ The staff at the Carstairs Memorial Arena who are always eager to help in any way, during the planning phase and the day of.
❤ To David Grossklaus who spent his entire day taking pictures, both on and off ice! Over 3000 pictures were taken and shared free of charge!
❤ To ALL those volunteers, who we count on to make an event like this work. We could not do this without you! There were some pretty long shifts, with many doing double duty. Thank you!
❤ To Amanda Jassman our Skate Alberta Tech Rep, who ensured everything was organized and scheduled correctly. We could not do this without your guidance.
❤ to Tera Glass our LOC. She has had the daunting task of organizing IceFest for the third year in a row! We now consider her an expert!
❤ To all the officials and sound techs who joined us. Thank you for coming and we hope to see you all again!
❤ to the CSC Board of Directors. You each had your own roll in the success of IceFest! In regards to the Fitbit Challenge, I had over 19000 steps!

Wow, what amazing IceFest Synchronized Skating Invitational again this year! Lets take a moment to acknowledge those who made IceFest a success! Be prepared this will be lengthy!

CSC was very excited to be hosting Ice Fest 2022. It had been a long wait to get there, but we did it! Twenty five teams from all over Alberta and Saskatchewan came to small town Carstairs for this wonderful event.
