Volunteering Opportunities
The Carstairs Skating Club relies heavily on their skating families to assist with club activities.
We ask that each family volunteer their time at ONE event per season (ie. test days, carnival, competition, organizing fundraising events, etc...). The time commitment ranges from 3-6 hrs.
These events will be communicated out to the club once our season begins.
Should you prefer not to assist with these volunteer activities, we will require $150.00 extra payment to the club per season.

Fundraising Opportunities
In order to keep our skating fees affordable and competitive with surrounding clubs, we ask that each family participate in ONE mandatory fundraiser per season (1 for Fall and 1 for Winter).
There could be other opportunities for fundraising throughout the year, however these additional events will not be mandatory. These activities will be communicated out to the club once our season begins.
Should you prefer not to fundraise for the club, we will require $150.00 extra payment to the club per season.
